Ership installs Terex Gottwald mobile harbour cranes

Terex Port Solutions (TPS) has recently sustainably expanded its presence in Spain with diesel-electric Terex Gottwald mobile harbour cranes. Since December 2015, the leading maritime industry group Ership S.A. (Ership) has put three Terex Gottwald Model 6 mobile harbour cranes in the G HMK 6407 B four-rope-grab variant for professional bulk handling into operation.

Chilean terminals opt for large cranes from TPS

The leading Italian terminal operator, Lorenzini & C. S.r.l. (Lorenzini) will put another diesel-electric Terex Gottwald Model 7 mobile harbour crane in the G HMK 7608 two rope variant into operation mid-November. The machine is the third Terex Gottwald Model 7 crane that Lorenzini acquired in the past two years.

Argentinean power plant operator opts for TPS crane

The Argentinian power plant operator AES Argentina Generacion S.A. (AES) has ordered a Terex Gottwald Model 2 portal harbour crane in the G HSK 2224 variant from Terex Port Solutions. From the end of 2016, AES will use the cargo handling machine in its 1,540 MW power plant in San Nicol?s de los Arroyos to unload coal imported from Colombia and South Africa.

Mardas harbour cranes

Turkish container terminal operator Mardas Marmara Denizcilik Isletmeleri (Mardas) has modified six of its Terex Gottwald Model 7 mobile harbour cranes at the Port of Ambarli in Turkey. Modifications included extending each crane?s tower by 5 m, increasing the working radius from 51 to 54 m and increasing the height of the boom pivot point, a company spokesperson said.
